Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Alliances with a specialized focus on vertical markets such as Hi-Tech industries, Banking, Telecom, and Media & Entertainment. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of building and managing successful alliances within these specific industries, driving revenue growth, and fostering collaborative partnerships that drive mutual success.

Responsibilities

  • Vertical Alliance Strategy Development: Develop and execute a tailored alliance strategy for each vertical market, aligning with the unique business objectives and priorities of Hi-Tech industries, Banking, Telecom, and Media & Entertainment.
  • Partner Identification and Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential alliance partners within each vertical market, considering strategic fit, market opportunity, and revenue potential specific to the industry's dynamics and needs.
  • Negotiation and Partnership Management: Lead negotiations with potential partners within each vertical market to establish mutually beneficial partnership agreements. Manage ongoing relationships with alliance partners, ensuring alignment of goals and effective collaboration on joint initiatives.
  • Revenue Generation and Business Development: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute tailored go-to-market strategies, sales enablement programs, and marketing campaigns for each vertical market. Meet or exceed revenue targets set for alliance-driven initiatives within Hi-Tech industries, Banking, Telecom, and Media & Entertainment.
  • Vertical-Specific Enablement and Training: Provide specialized training and enablement support to internal teams and alliance partners within each vertical market, ensuring a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges, trends, and opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Define key performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of alliance programs within Hi-Tech industries, Banking, Telecom, and Media & Entertainment. Regularly track and report on alliance performance against targets, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  • Industry Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies within Hi-Tech industries, Banking, Telecom, and Media & Entertainment. Identify new partnership opportunities and drive continuous improvement of alliance programs and initiatives tailored to each vertical market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Master’s preferable in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in alliance management, business development, or partnership roles within the IT and networking industry, with a specialized focus on Hi-Tech industries, Banking, Telecom, and/or Media & Entertainment.
  • Proven track record of building and managing successful alliances within specific vertical markets, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners within each vertical market.
  • Deep understanding of industry-specific challenges, trends, and opportunities within Hi-Tech industries, Banking, Telecom, and Media & Entertainment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute tailored alliance strategies that align with the unique dynamics and needs of each vertical market.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and ROI from alliance programs and initiatives within Hi-Tech industries, Banking, Telecom, and Media & Entertainment.
