Organizational Change Manager

Your Role:

The organizational Change Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of change, communication and education focused on large scale strategic objective programs and projects. This individual will also give input on the strategic direction of organizational change management needed to support the annual plans. This person will focus on the people side of changes associated with IT technical implementations connected with Ardent Mills’ strategic initiatives. The individual will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with organizational changes that impact team members.

Your Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead, support and/or participate in project teams compromised of subject matter experts and stakeholders to determine desired team member change, communication and education needs.
  • Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure objectives, timelines and goals are being met.
  • Manage tasks, projects, and workstreams for change management efforts to support the implementation of critical initiatives driving technology, process, and culture changes.
  • Partner with external vendors as appropriate to ensure all change and education approaches engage participants, support the new behavior, skills and capabilities needed of team member, and align with the change strategy.
  • Effectively partner with key business leaders consult on change management, communication and education needs while providing them with tools to be successful.
  • Provide curriculum design and development expertise to lead team in creating new org- wide solutions and enhancing and supporting existing solutions.
  • Understand and adhere to Organizational Change Management (OCM) standards and methodologies and put them into practice.
  • Design, develop, and deploy change, communication and training plans, and the artifacts needed to support them.
  • Create and lead change networks.
  • Identify and measure the success of change management solutions.
  • Deliver and create end user communications and training materials.
  • Support efforts to grow our business acumen around Change management
  • Determine work distribution amongst other change resources including determining when additional resources are needed.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • BA Degree in Instructional Design, Communication, Education, Business, Organizational Development or related field or 10 + years of equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years’ experience in a change management or learning development role  
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory and practice, facilitation and training techniques and ability to apply instructional design methods
  • Use of and familiarity with Change Management methodologies including but not limited to, ADKAR and ADDIE models
  • Demonstrated competence in Facilitation
  • Strong understanding and expertise in content writing
  • Ability to visually design concepts and ideas into end user material
  • Proven experience in driving learning solution design through all phases from concept, presentation, design, development, facilitation, evaluation, refinement, and implementation
  • Ability to create, articulate, and present highly creative pitches to a variety of stakeholders
  • High aptitude to learn new technology

Good to have:

  • Strong Project Management experience, and practical approach to coordinating projects
  • Experience with the implementation of IT systems
  • Experience with Project Management systems
  • Experienced in engaging with senior business leaders
  • Team-first professional with excellent leadership, influencing and prioritization capabilities
  • Experience with Collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online

Other considerations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ardent Mills is headquartered in Denver, CO.  This role can be 100% remote. 
    The successful candidate will be expected to commit to a periodic presence in the Denver HQ office, the frequency of which is open to discussion with the hiring manager.

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:

We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $86,200.00 - $114,915.90, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 10% Annual.
