HR Technology Product Manager - Talent & Learning

About this role

As a Product Manager, you'll lead the design, implementation, and optimization of impactful HR solutions using Workday and emerging technologies.  You'll collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business needs into strategic roadmaps, empowering a high-performing team to deliver exceptional employee experiences. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify & support HR initiatives to improve employee experiences and business processes for Carrier. 

  • Apply HR systems expertise & best practices to design, implement, and optimize impactful HR solutions. 

  • Influence technical solutions by leveraging and maximizing current and future technology investments. 

  • Responsible for planning, designing, configuring, and testing solution options in Workday Talent and Learning

  • Work with the business stakeholders, internal procurement, and vendors to determine additional Workday and emerging technologies in Talent and Learning space for assessment and deployment at Carrier. 

  • Collaborate with HR Technology leadership and business stakeholders to translate business needs into requirements, gap analysis, and impact assessment. Research and recommend effective solutions and business processes. 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team (direct, matrix, consultants) to achieve strategic objectives. 

  • Stay current with Workday, leading HCM technologies, and Gen AI.

  • Share the knowledge gained on product innovation with HRT team members and the relevant business stakeholders. 

  • Develop trusted and strategic relationships with the business stakeholders and the Digital Technology teams. 

  • Lead the development of a strategic technology roadmap for Talent and Learning.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • 5+ years of experience in leading HR technology projects and teams.

  • 2+ years of Workday Talent and Learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in leading HR technology projects and teams.

  • 3+ years of Workday Talent and Learning.

  • Broad management and leadership knowledge.

  • Relevant certifications in Workday Talent, Performance Management and Learning. 

  • Implementation experience with Workday Skills Cloud.

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Experience with Acquisitions, Mergers and Divestitures.

  • Ability to work independently across different time zones in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels within the organization.  

  • Comfortable with SDLC and Agile product delivery frameworks and tools such as JIRA. 

  • Experience with project management methodologies for leading product development. 

  • Adept at creating Documentation artifacts such as User Guides, Process Flow Charts, Project Plans, Test Plans, and other slide decks for presentations.
