Delta Faucet Company is looking for an Operational Excellence COE Leader to join our Supply Chain & Services (SC&S) team. This is a hybrid position that will be responsible for crafting strategies aligned with the organization’s strategy to support manufacturing needs and the Masco Operating System (MOS) roadmap.
Nature & Scope:
In this capacity the incumbent will collaborate closely with Senior Leadership Team Members to optimize our experience and development of the MOS tools, how we measure impact, and drive continuous improvement as part of our culture in how we run our business as well as transform the business to support growth. Additionally, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital manufacturing landscape by developing and leading strategic programs focused on improving efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
This will be in a matrixed indirect reporting relationship as well as leading a team of MOS trainers and kaizen facilitators.
Responsibilities:
- Lead MOS development & deployment strategy, implement operational excellence standards across the organization.
- Leverage organizational change framework in deployment of projects.
- Responsible for leading and tracking time reduction and cost savings results.
- Provide ongoing mentorship support to SC&S Departments on the use of continuous improvement tools to sustain performance against safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics.
- Accountable for leadership and oversight of governance processes for certifications, technology integration, and process development as part of our Digital Factory initiative in partnership with Information Systems and SC&S departments.
- Sees around the corner and stays updated with trends and advancements in digital manufacturing.
- Lead best practice development and sharing in the MOS space.
- 25%+ domestic and international travel required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, operations, or business related fields; and five years of experience in an operations capacity
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and bring employees along towards achieving organization goals
- Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in the application of complex business performance improvement, process improvement, organizational development and quality improvement principles, methodologies, standard processes, and tools.
- Proven track record of implementing digital solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of machine monitor/learning.
- Must be able to complete detailed plans with timelines to meet growing market demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interpret technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to remain agile.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite and Smartsheet.
