Our client, a trusted provider of professional accounting services for the last 30 years has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. As the Accounting Manager you will be responsible for managing a variety of clients.

- Tackle challenges with a mix of analytical acumen and inventive thinking, turning obstacles into opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Pursue ongoing learning and development, evolving in your role while mentoring a team, fostering their growth alongside your own.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for reporting purposes in accordance with Canadian GAAP.
- Oversee the preparation of corporate, individual and trust tax returns and ensure compliance with all Canadian tax regulations.
- CPA designation (Canada) with minimum of 3 years of public practice experience since becoming a CPA.
- Minimum of 7 years or proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations (ITA, ETA, PST, etc).
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Xero Blue, Xero Workpapers, TaxCycle, Karbon, and MS365.
