QA / Software Tester

A leading global e-commerce distribution company, headquartered in Luxembourg, is seeking a dedicated Software Tester. The selected individual will be pivotal in continuously maintaining and enhancing the software's functionality, guaranteeing an optimal user experience for its clientele and users.

Mode: Hybrid/Remote (France or Luxembourg or Poland) with permanent employment contract

Responsibilities

• Strategize and implement functional and regression testing scenarios, utilizing both manual and automated approaches.
• Automated testing experience is a very good plus
• Engage throughout the entire development lifecycle, from design and development to production deployment and post-production support.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to comprehend business requirements and understand new features, identifying potential gaps and cross-application impacts.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure thorough testing and high-quality changes.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage to ensure top-notch software deliverables.
• Document and report defects promptly, providing all necessary details, and coordinate with the development team to prioritize bug fixing.
• Monitor automated test suite reports, investigating any failures, and rectifying tests where necessary or reporting defects.
• Establish and maintain testing documentation.
  
  

Requirements

• A strong drive and enthusiasm to be part of a dynamic team in an agile work environment.
• Proficiency in modern software testing methodologies.
• Practical experience in testing web applications, and mobile applications (knowledge of API testing is advantageous).
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and a genuine eagerness to acquire new knowledge.
• A keen intellect and sound comprehension of user interactions with digital interfaces.
• Any prior exposure to testing automation frameworks and concepts for building automated tests would be highly beneficial.
• Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a positive).
