The Role
We are looking for entrepreneurial product managers to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the company. You will work as a Product Manager on our Data Products. In this role, you will be at the cross-section of data, operations, and distributed systems working on the cutting edge of the blockchain ecosystem. As the glue between our engineers, integration teams, sales teams, and other stakeholders in the company, you will drive, define, communicate, and help the team execute on our operational and data road maps.
Your Impact Take lead in defining product feature requirements and stories to set the team up for clear goals and successEnsure the delivery of all operational work for the Compute and Data products, which include but are not limited to overseeing the standard week-to-week requests for new data feeds, configuration change requests of all products, and sunsetting products/versions in a safe mannerManage project-based work such as major version upgrades, migrations, and project work for new bespoke solutions or productsManage stakeholders expectations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive priorities, understand tradeoffs, and build strategic direction that align with the company’s vision and objectivesBalance investments in new tooling for new products and scalability vs. reliability improvements to existing tools to optimally support the current suite of productsRequirements With Git programming, software development, data engineer or similar technical background At least 5 years of experience working as a product manager in a startup or fast-moving environment, leading and resourcing teamsWith sprint/agile experience, demonstrate skills of ownership and ability to drive/release products that have made a positive impact you are proud ofAbility to communicate across teams and plan ahead to remove roadblocksUnderstand how EVM based chains and decentralized oracle networks work at a moderate levelUnderstand solidity-based smart contracts and how they interact with each other to create applications or provide dataFast learner and ability to multitask while prioritizing needs and measuring tradeoffsStrong communicator that is verbally and non-verbally poised, with mindful communicationActively listens, observant and confident, with the ability to outline ideas clearlyAssured, reflective leader with strong morals around teamwork and collaboration with no ego, backed by strong history around improvement/promotions/leading team winsAppreciates the importance of simplicity, and can explain technical concepts in clear, creative, and concise ways A passion for blockchain, or at least self-developed interest and excitementAll roles with Chainlink Labs are global and remote-based.
