Ryz is looking for a Senior Product Designer for a 6-month Contract position (with the possibility of extension/conversion to full time) to join the customer experience team responsible for the end-to-end customer experience of booking and staying at one of our clients in the hospitality industry. This team works on any experience the guest touches, with a specific focus on the design of the website and mobile app. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally Product, Development, and Operations and support stakeholders to understand areas of opportunity. This team values someone with a keen eye for intuiting what a guest needs, the ability to act on data, the ability to uncover customer needs from customer feedback and a keen eye for simple and clean mobile/web design.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in product design.
- Experience in both mobile and web design is a must.
- Portfolio showcasing examples of your design work, in industry.
- Experience creating concepts to pixel perfect deliverables with a deeply collaborative and iterative approach to product design.
- Ability to formulate strong points of view balancing business needs, data metrics, and the user’s experience.
- Solid understanding of usability testing and how to use both qualitative and quantitative data to inform your designs.
- Knowing when to apply the appropriate level of fidelity to your work, being conscious of deadlines & deliverables to communicate your solution.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
