Navigating Your Role: Charting Your Course as an Accountant

Employment type: Full time
Shift: Mon - Fri 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Work setup: Hybrid, Baguio City


Balance the Books: Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to our onshore/corporate accounting team in the US and collaborate with our accounting team in the Philippines.
  • Assist in the tax preparation process for W360 managed associations.
  • Process timely payroll for specific associations’ employees through various payroll systems and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
  • Prepare, encode, and classify data for billing invoices and add Westward invoices to daily breakdown.
  • Verify documentation and request disbursements for payments.
  • Assist in posting Epay and postage reimbursements from clearing account to managed associations.
  • Participate in phone calls with property managers, clients, or both to discuss accounting issues and questions directly.
  • Perform miscellaneous corporate-related duties as assigned.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of internal processes for both accounting and operations.


Requirements

Credentials on Deck: Qualifications Needed

  • Minimum 1-3 years of business accounting experience.
  • Excellent English-language communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong educational credentials with a focus on accounting.
  • Certified Public Accounting (CPA) credential is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards.
  • High comfort level with technology, especially web-based software and platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment producing high-quality results.
  • Capacity to build rapport with team members, other staff, clients, and service providers.
