Quinstreet is seeking a Director of Paid Social who has experience in performance marketing to join our Media Buying Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Quinstreet’s efforts across all major Social ad networks including Facebook, TikTok, Quora, Reddit, and more. This is a hands-on role and the ideal candidate will possess expertise in building, executing, and optimizing social media buys within ad-buying platforms. Additionally, you will oversee and mentor a growing team of media buyers, providing training and guidance to ensure adherence to industry best practices as well as Quinstreet’s compliance guidelines. We are seeking a self-starter who has experience in customer acquisition and driving needle moving results in this channel, ideally in the lead generation space. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to join a growing time with lofty goals of growing Paid Social into a $100M+ channel.

 

Responsibilities

  •  Develop and execute strategic Paid Social plans to drive consumer acquisition across various Quinstreet business lines
  • Launch, manage, and optimize new campaigns across multiple Paid Social ad networks, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers at ad networks to implement best practices and optimize targeting strategies for improved campaign performance.
  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new creative and advertorial testin
  • Supervise and mentor a team of media buyers, providing training and guidance on industry best practices and campaign management techniques.
  • Contribute to the creative direction of campaigns, providing regular guidance to the creative team on images, videos, and advertorial ideas to be tested.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to category leads at Quinstreet, offering insights into media performance and advocating for necessary support to enhance campaign yield and margin.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in Paid Social advertising, implementing innovative strategies to drive campaign success and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team, promoting continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Consistently and proactively direct and launch new tests and experiments with the goal of further driving yield and margin.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Paid Social with a proven track record of success in developing and executing Paid Social strategies, preferably in the lead generation space
  • In-depth knowledge of Paid Social platforms and tools, including Facebook and TikTok
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data driven decisions.
  • Experience in Performance Marketing, ideally lead generation
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding and knowledge of landing page design and optimizations
  • Familiarity with direct response geared copywriting
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement
  • Previous P&L management experience is preferred, but not required
  • Experience leading and mentoring other media buyers
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities, cross team collaboration is crucial

The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 USD to $150,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
