Your missions

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for retention and driving growth of Perceptyx solutions into existing customer accounts. You will represent Perceptyx and its product suite within and among enterprise organizations' various business units and divisions. Exceeding sales objectives. You will also manage all aspects of the sales process, including lead management, qualification, evaluation, close, and will play an integral role in the overall sales team's success. This is a quota-carrying sales position with a dedicated focus on selling back into the Perceptyx customer base.

Requirements

What You Will Do:
  • Responsible for customer renewals and for leveraging those renewals to expand customer revenue and contract term securing long term multiyear agreements
  • Define and execute specific expansion sales strategies for the overall assigned customer accounts.
  • You will strive to exceed sales goals (quotas) through strategic prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within business units divisions and the overall enterprise.
  • You will work to achieve at least 3x sales pipeline in your customer accounts at any given time.
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information daily in Salesforce.com.
  • Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support, operations, professional services, and sales architects.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Managers to identify customer expansion opportunities and ensure strong communication and collaboration with the customer account team.
  • Nurture and expand the company’s relationship with business units, divisions, and the overall enterprise and work closely with the Customer Success Management team
  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales enablement, marketing efforts, and client care.
  • Take the initiative to continuously learn about Perceptyx products, solutions, and the platform as part of a continuous learning approach.
  • Travel to customer locations throughout the country in support of sales efforts.

 

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a technical or business focus is preferred.
  • 8+ years of software sales experience, preferably SaaS, with proven success selling into large enterprise accounts. You’ve worked with complex sales and have seven-figure deal experience, you have a strong track record of customer retention (90%+)  strong negotiating and deal strategy skills, and experience expanding existing customer revenue
  • Experience with employee experience solutions, data analytics, HCM platforms, and enterprise employee engagement platforms is preferred.
  • Savvy communication skills. You know what to say and, more importantly, how to say it.

Compensation✨

Perceptyx is focused on equitable pay for all our staff and aims for transparency with our pay practices. The salary range for the role is 70,000 to 90,000 annually. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
