As an Integration Architect you will be responsible for defining the integration solution required to integrate TMS customers, carriers, and vendor systems so that it achieves maximum value for customers. This person creates integration solutions to the appropriate needs of the customer, based on MG application and customers’ IT environment. You will also ensure that the integration configuration is set up to meet customers’ IT requirements and technical capabilities.

This opportunity will be based out of your home office from anywhere within the United Kingdom. Flexible hours will be a must, to allow involvement with projects in various time zones.

Work Authorization: Must be able to work in the United Kingdom without any sponsorship required (currently or in the future).

Responsibilities:

Participates and actively supports integration efforts throughout the entire project lifecycle
Defines integration solution in conjunction with TMS Workflow
Responsible for Integration architecture from MG applications to Client’s systems. Articulates the technical architecture to customer’s IT teams
Drives and support customer development interface efforts to MercuryGate standards or custom needs
Conducts walkthroughs of sample files and mapping documents
Performs GAP analysis between MercuryGate Standards and customer interface capabilities
Makes interface recommendations based on knowledge of MercuryGate interface capabilities
Identifies the need for custom or base new features in conjunction with customer design sessions
Works effectively with other MG resources and customer team members to reach established objectives and deadlines
Contributes to the development of technical and integration solutions, based on domain knowledge and project requirements
Ensures compliance with internal and external company policies and procedures

What we’re looking for:

4+ years of directly applicable experience
TMS (Transportation Managment System) experience required
Industry experience required: Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Transportation
Some knowledge of one, or more, of the following: XML, EDI, CSV
Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and concepts
Knowledge of transfer protocols (SFTP, AS2, API)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to details, and the ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Detail oriented and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
Analytical, problem solver, logical thinker with attention to detail

Nice to have:

Mapping software knowledge - Cleo Clarify experience would be a bonus
Ability to read Java code (or another Object-Oriented language)

Compensation for this position includes a base salary of £80,000 – £105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a bonus calculated as a percentage of base salary.
