Your missions

Title : Starfish Backup Engineer

Location – Remote

Note : Look with Linux, Orchestration and any Scripting, Working with Starfish Vendor and FAC team

  1. Administrating the large backup environment with on-premises and cloud based backup solutions
  2. Worked on large backup environment solutions and planning and recommended cost effective solutions for customers.
  3. Having experience on Service Now ticketing tool.
  4. VM backups & Restore solutions
  5. Installing Configuring and administrating Starfish backup in large enterprise environment.
  6. Disaster recovery, planning and management.
  7. Creating Backup notifications in large enterprise Starfish environment.
  8. Clustered Application and Database servers’ backup administration.
  9. Designing the Backup Strategy for the sites and ensuring scheduled/unscheduled Backups as per backup plan and restoration.
  10. Troubleshooting Backup and Restore related issues.
  11. Acting on restore requests based on the priority.
  12. Implementing and managing Disk based backups for heterogeneous clients using Starfish.
  13. Guiding the L1 and L2 members.
  14. Prepare plan for Disaster Recovery Testing and perform DR for large environment
  15. Working on the escalated incidents from L1s.
  16. Performing the backup incident trend analysis and Work on Proactive Problem tickets to avoid repetitive backup failures.
