The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers are in the search for a Marketing Manager for our Carrier Relations department. Job Title: Carrier Relations Marketing Manager (Commercial Lines & Personal Lines)
Primary Purpose:
Ownership and coordination of carrier marketing activities for a given discipline (commercial lines, personal lines). Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning, scheduling, and executing on an agreed enterprise marketing strategy.
Qualifications
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Carrier Operations Team for carrier codes within AMS/Epic to ensure proper coding across the Liberty Company.
- Understand the various entities within Liberty, departments, producer needs in the marketplace to ensure we communicate to the carriers our strategies and needs for our growth.
- Communicate to the Liberty Company of changes in the market appetites, new products, carrier enhanced commission opportunities.
- Work with Account Management and Producers to provide marketing guidance.
- Identify financial and security concerns for the various insurance carrier partners to be able to communicate those changes to producers/account management teams to ensure we proactively replace those insurers if their financial levels drop below A-VII
- Responsible for maintaining accurate accounts of and having timely awareness of all direct carrier appointments and ancillary markets accessed through wholesalers for Liberty in any state.
- Participate in regularly scheduled team calls to discuss marketing issues throughout the enterprise.
- Carrier Planning for Production Goals for insurance carriers includes a proactive approach to include:
- Tracking Premium Volume – New Business, Renewal, Lost
- Loss Analysis on Book of Business
- Budgeting Estimated Contingency by market to allow for budgeting the expected contingencies for the various offices in conjunction with Finance Dept.
- Access carrier marketing dollars to pay for Liberty marketing initiatives for new business.
- Assist with due diligence on marketplace needs and benefits for new producers and agency acquisitions.
- Work with onboarding new agencies and producers to identify critical market access points in their specific regions and client needs.
- Participate in carrier meetings and agency/broker councils where appropriate to build solid carrier relationships with key decision makers.
- Work with producers/partners/management to coordinate key relationships to assist in maintaining and developing relationships to help solve problems for either Liberty or the Carrier.
