About the Position
As the Social Media Community Leader for Contrast Security, you will be the voice of our brand across various traditional and non-traditional social media platforms. You will leverage your deep understanding of cybersecurity and your passion for social engagement to create a vibrant online community and drive awareness and education. This role will report to our VP, Corporate Communications.
We're seeking a passionate Social Media Community Leader who thrives on connecting with and empowering developers, application security engineers, and information security leaders. Your enthusiasm for runtime application security will shine through as you craft engaging content and build meaningful relationships within the InfoSec and AppSec communities. ResponsibilitiesActively participate in social settings, including Slack, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord Foster conversations, answer questions and share insights to establish Contrast Security as a thought leaderDevelop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with company goalsProduce engaging short-form videos that educate, inform, and entertain the audienceManage the main LinkedIn page for Contrast Security, ensuring consistent branding and messaging, including event promotionMonitor social media channels for mentions and respond promptly to comments and inquiriesCreate a unique and memorable social media voice for Contrast Security that resonates with the target audience Ensure consistent tone and messaging across all social media platformsTrack and analyze key metrics to measure the success of campaignsReport on performance to stakeholders and recommend optimizationsStay abreast of the latest trends in application security and social mediaIdentify opportunities to leverage emerging trends to increase brand visibilityQualificationsProven experience in cybersecurity, preferably with a background in development or application securityDemonstrable understanding of social communities, including “dark social” Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise mannerExperience creating engaging social media content, including videos and written postsFamiliarity with various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Slack, and othersExperience managing social media communities and fostering engagementAbility to develop creative and innovative social media campaigns that capture attentionPassion for building a strong brand identity and online communityFamiliarity with social media management tools and analytics platformsBasic video editing skills or willingness to learn

What We Offer
Salary and Other Compensation
This position's standard base pay range is $120,000 - $185,000 annually. This position is also eligible for an equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider several factors: geography, skill set, experience, job scope, and current market data.
