We are seeking a Director, Marketing Strategy & Activation with a deep background in the Consumer sector to join our growing team. This role will drive the strategic development and execution of cross-channel activation plans. The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker, with demonstrable experience knowing what, where, and when to activate, how to optimize spend across all channels, with deep clarity on "the why" relative to marketing goals and “the who” relative to audiences and segmentation strategies. 
 
The Director, Marketing Strategy & Activation should have deep marketing experience and cross-channel expertise (email, paid search, owned media, earned media, etc.) in creating and executing marketing programs targeted to consumer audiences.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Translate client business objectives into specific marketing objectives, activation strategies, and execution plans to achieve business goals
  • Work with channel owners to harmonize marketing across channels
  • Assess client maturity using Bounteous x Accolite models, ideate on marketing innovation opportunities, facilitate prioritization, and define marketing roadmaps
  • Use the results of analysis to communicate program success, identify new growth opportunities, optimize marketing performance, and gain support for new growth initiatives

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with marketing strategy activation, including hands-on experience in at least one channel
  • 4+ years of leadership experience coordinating multi-functional teams and cross-channel marketing
  • Excellent business acumen - proven ability to think strategically about business, customer experience, and technical challenges; an entrepreneurial approach to finding new growth levers
  • Analytical - extremely comfortable with structuring and analyzing data, using it to tell a story and drive decisions; experience working closely with data teams in support of marketing
  • Collaborative - skilled at bringing people together, highly organized, a strong leadership-level presence; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Consulting agency experience preferred
  • Experience in Travel & Hospitality, Retail, and/or Consumer Goods industries with multiple customer and distribution models (including direct-to-consumer, B2C, and B2B) a plus
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
