We are looking for a dynamic Business Lead who will be the ecosystem subject matter expert on one of our chains at Magic Eden. As one of our Business Leads, you will be responsible for helping us stay close to your respective blockchain ecosystem and play a key role in shaping product & commercial strategy, ensuring we remain at the forefront of each blockchain's unique landscape, and contributing to Magic Eden’s position as the #1 NFT platform across chains.

Primary collaboration hours will be during Pacific Time

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own business performance metrics including overall volume growth, revenue, and active users across primaries and secondaries activities for your designated chain
  • Develop thoughtful, innovative, long term product & business strategies rooted in deep market insights to grow revenue and/or users and create competitive differentiation on Magic Eden
  • Offer expertise as an active trader who is always on top of the blockchain ecosystem news & trends
  • Support GTM campaigns, providing ecosystem perspective to make sure all launches are positioned well, explained clearly, and received well by the community
  • Help broker win-win partnerships between your assigned ecosystem and internal teams across BD, VIP, and Marketing as a connector to your ecosystem
  • Be accountable to the quality of the marketplace product by constantly testing, escalating bugs, and working closely with product teams to ensure marketplace is best-in-class
  • Be an unflinching source of truth representing what the ecosystem wants from Magic Eden and ways we can continuously improve across product and brand

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic partnerships, commercial strategy, or product strategy roles in high growth technology startup environments, and a successful track record of closing complex partnership deals
  • Deep market knowledge - offer deep understanding of crypto and NFT traders, market trends, and NFT projects 
  • Deep user expertise - be an active user of Magic Eden and other analogous platforms or dApps to offer clear perspective for how our marketplace can continuously improve and innovate
  • Be a self-starter - this person should find ways to drive real business impact and product differentiation for our platform
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate - work seamlessly with stakeholders across product, BD, marketing, and engineering to shape marketplace strategy
  • Team player mindset - treat everyone with respect and provide input where necessary

The compensation for this position will vary based on geography and other factors (including years and depth of experience and expertise, and other business considerations). The base salary range for this role if hired in the United States is $160,000 - $180,000. Additionally, this full-time role is eligible to receive benefits, as well as participate in Magic Eden’s equity plan. Final offer package will be at the company’s sole discretion.
