Purpose of the Position:
The Permit Specialist is an integral part of our engineering team, playing a crucial role in the successful implementation of our projects by managing the permit process from start to finish. This role requires proactive forecasting, close attention to detail, effective coordination with permitting agencies, and ensuring timely and accurate permit submissions to support project timelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively schedule and manage permits to prevent project delays.
Collaborate with permitting agencies to prepare and adjust applications as needed, addressing any issues that might delay the process
Conduct research and compile data to support project team scheduling needs
Act as the main point of contact with internal teams to ensure all permit applications are submitted accurately and on schedule

Technical understanding/ability.
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Acute attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Knowledge of electronic wireless industry research methods.
Ability to operate in a dynamic and changing environment.
Ability to travel as required.
Education and experience Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience as a permit specialist with aerial and UG ROW (right-of-way) permitting experience.
Familiarity with utility regulations, codes, and standards.
Competence in using software tools for permit tracking and management.
