Job Description

Reporting into the Head of Commercial Marketing, the Senior Content Manager plays a pivotal role in creating and executing the content strategy for our Commercial business units.

With a strategic and data-lead mindset, the Senior Content Manager is responsible for meeting business objectives and staying across the medical industry standards and regulations.

The Senior Content Manager leads a team of content creators, ensuring all content aligns with brand voice, resonates with our target audience (healthcare professionals), and drives engagement and conversions. This role requires a creative mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of content marketing principles, to drive initiatives in the following areas:

Content Strategy and Creation

Leadership, Mentoring and Cross Functional Collaboration

Communication and Social Media Strategy

Reporting & Regulations

Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Safety and Compliance

OKR's and KPI's

In addition to these foundations, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience in a healthcare content manager role, managing content strategy and teams

  • 8+ years in content marketing, with a track record of developing and executing successful content strategies. B2B essential. Regulated industry preferred.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.

  • Excellent understanding of content marketing strategies, SEO principles (in a gated environment), community management and social media platforms.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights and adjust content strategies based on performance metrics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with creative flare.

  • Deep understanding of content marketing principles, SEO best practices, and digital marketing trends.

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), analytics tools, and project management software.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, problem-solve, and drive results.

  • Passion for staying current with industry developments and continuously learning and evolving in the field of content marketing.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, committed to producing content designs aligned with brand standards

  • Experience in brand reputation management online
