Role overview

Our client is an innovative company developing a generative AI music platform that targets businesses aiming to produce content for their social media posts, marketing materials, and more. Their platform will enable users to generate instrumental music by entering text prompts, customize track lengths, crop music tracks, and download the generated music. We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join a team of Emmy award winning artists, astrophysicists, technologists and musicians aiming to reimagine the heights of melodic creativity with artificial intelligence

our dynamic team and help bring this exciting project to life.

As a UI/UX Designer you will be responsible for designing the user interface and user experience for the music generation platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their expertise in creating intuitive, user-friendly designs. You will work closely with the product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the platform meets the needs of the users and provides an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

User Research and Analysis

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
• Analyze user feedback and usage data to identify pain points and areas for improvement.

Wireframes and Mockups

• Develop wireframes and mockups for the user flow, including login/signup, music
• generation input, teaser selection, full track generation, cropping, and downloading.
• Create high-fidelity designs that align with brand identity.

High-Fidelity Designs

• Design detailed interfaces for the music generation input form, teaser selection interface, music track editor (cropping functionality), and download/regenerate features.
• Ensure all designs are optimized for a seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.

Usability Testing

• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate with developers to implement design changes based on user feedback.

User Onboarding and Tutorials

• Design user onboarding experiences and tutorial materials to help users get started with the platform.
• Create intuitive and engaging user guides and documentation.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately.
• Communicate design concepts and decisions clearly to team members and stakeholders.
