A dedicated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Loss Prevention Coordinator. This position is designed for professionals with a strong background in security knowledge, loss prevention, CCTV and alarm monitoring, crime analysis. The Loss Prevention Coordinator will play a vital role in the implementation of security and crime prevention strategies, internal loss prevention, internal investigations, active monitoring and meeting the requirements of the different areas of the company on security issues. A bi-lingual candidate is preferred.

Key areas of responsibility

1. Coordinate the monitoring center's team of analysts.

2. Oversee and drive the Investigation program, ensuring all investigations and investigative requests are completed timely.

3. Provide Operations and Legal Departments with Support as requested.

4. Communicate and coordinate with local authorities across jurisdictions.

5. Possess Interviewing knowledge and skill.

6. Create and supervise safe connection verification instructions.

7. Perform connection tests for CCTV recovery.

8. Coordinate technical services for safe maintenance.

9. Ensure that the attention provided by analysts to the operation is effective.

10. Contact the different levels of public service authorities (PNC).

11. Prepare all types of reports on CMG activities.

12. Coordinate with the private security operations center to follow up on patrols and services requested and validated by CMG.

13. Organize with the CMEF coordinators in Mexico, for the homologation of processes.

14. Give attention to all the requirements of the operation and any area of CATI that requires the support of CMG.

15. Elaboration and supervision of video analysis of the different CMG incidences.

16. Control of the budget assigned to the CMG.

17. Elaboration of payment matrices to suppliers.

18. Review of the invoicing of all services

19. Review of projects for new store openings.

20. Periodically visit stores to review security devices.

21. Develop security and crime prevention strategies.  

22. Supervise that security protocols are correctly carried out in stores as well as in the stores themselves.

                                                                                                                                                       

Critical and essential tasks

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in security and/or loss prevention areas.
  • Investigation and Interview Knowlegde.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in active CCTV and alarm monitoring.
  • Advanced understanding of security processes
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to learn quickly and collaborate within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of advanced database queries for data validation.
  • Good knowledge of video analysis.
  • Able to work autonomously on manual tasks with minimal supervision and automated tasks with some supervision.
  • Knowledge of video editing tools

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, criminology, psychology, security or related fields, or equivalent experience. Bi-lingual.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with colleagues and communicate test results and issues.

  • Learning agility: Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, technologies and software systems, especially during the initial training period.
