Your missions

Principal Security Architect

Description
Conexess Group is aiding a nationally known software and services company in their search for a Principal Security Architect to come onboard full time and help grow their Security Practice. This is a remote position with around 10-15% travel required to meet with current clients. Your main responsibility will be providing hands-on security architecture and engineering. Architecture will consist of creating detailed designs, performing assessments, development of runbooks for engineers and lead projects for our customers. Engineering will consist of hands-on delivery and implementation for our customers. Priority of work is as follows: delivery (post-sales), sales enablement (pre-sales), and integration creation.

Responsibilities

Role is split across sales and delivery. Ideal percentages are split equally, 50/50. However, demand can shift to more delivery or more pre-sales.
Perform delivery work for our customers on architecture and/or engineering.
Work across all our practices, solution architects, and sales teams.
Will respond to RFI's, RFQ's and RFP's.
Will create to BOM's, SOW's and LOE's.
Develop collateral and present to customers.
Create architecture design artifacts (HLD's and LLD's).
Create pre-sales collateral (presentations, feature matrix, etc).
Vet new technologies and OEMs in our lab and create cross platform integration(s).
Train and educate our security team and solution architects.

Requirements

Must be able to speak, present and communicate in front of groups and at all levels within an organization (technical individual contributor to decision makers).
Strong written and verbal skills that range from creating advisory output (powerpoint and/or detail word documents) and architecture diagrams.
Analyze and assess customer requirements and challenges, identify recommendations for solutions or process improvements, and define a plan to successfully implement proposed solution.
Co-Develop and Co-Deliver workshops and executive briefings as it pertains to security.
Approximately 50% professional services delivery/billable time.
Approximately 10-20% travel may be required, depending on demand.
Must have one or multiple active certifications:
- Palo Alto
  - PCNSA, PCNSE, PCCSE
- Fortinet
  - FCP in Network Security (this was the NSE 4-6)
  - FCSS in Network Security (this was the NSE 7)
- Tanium
  - TCO, TCA
- Zscaler
  - ZDTA, ZTCA
- CyberArk
  - Defender, Sentry, Guradian

Nice to Have

CISSP or CISA or CISM certification.
Hands on deployment experience with Okta, SailPoint, Saviynt and/or Cequence
Expert in one or two of the following areas, Network Security, Cloud Security, Application Security, Endpoint or Identity & Access Mgmt.
Experience with enterprise data security, common enterprise security deployments and infrastructures within the fortune 250 space.
