We need an English-fluent Frontend developer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features using Angular and JavaScript.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Use Git for version control and collaboration with team members.
  • Maintain and improve website.
  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
  • Help out with support tickets as they come in.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years experience as a Frontend Developer.
  • Strong experience with Angular13+, JavaScript, and Node.js.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

It's a plus:

  • Experience with additional frameworks/libraries like React or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jasmine or Mocha.
  • Experience with websockets
  • Candidates with professional or personal experience in finance or trading is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation:

  • The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $1,500 - $2,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
  • This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
  • The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
