Function Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless integration of various software and hardware components, particularly focusing on Siemens PCS7 systems. If you are passionate about driving efficiency and reliability in automated control systems, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Requirements

• Leverage your 10+ years of experience to design, develop, and implement software/hardware enhancements for Siemens PCS7 systems, ensuring smooth integration and optimal functionality.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and investigations to address manufacturing deviations and anomalies related to automated control systems, ensuring continuous process improvement.
• Develop and revise engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment, adhering to GAMP 5 guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Provide essential support for small-scale manufacturing, engineering, and validation projects, contributing to their success through your expertise in process control and monitoring equipment.
• Take ownership of system specifications, user requirements, and functional specifications, overseeing the execution of vital Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) protocols to ensure system reliability.
• Evaluate cyber security vulnerabilities and risks associated with automation systems, software, and infrastructure, implementing necessary measures to enhance system security and resilience.
  
  
  

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with OSI PI data historian or similar platform administration.
• Proficiency in deploying large-scale systems at the enterprise level.
• Knowledge of ISE S95 and S88 principles, coupled with expertise in IT/Automation integration.
• Competency in PLC communication, HMIs, system design, and maintenance of automation process control infrastructure.
• Passion for challenging the status quo and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
