ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Health Journeys group. Your work will guide millions of users towards better health!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• As an Engineer at Ada you’ll work in a cross functional delivery team of between 4-7 other developers (designers and engineers)
• You’ll be a part of an environment that allows you to shape both the technical vision, and culture in a growing team
• Ada’s mobile app has already seen great success on a global scale, live in several countries
• You'll work with Kotlin, React/React Native, Javascript/Typescript, Redis, K8s, and much more
• You'll help the team to reach state-of-the-art technology and techniques
• You'll always learn, share knowledge and grow together with the team
• You'll be encouraged to discuss better solutions and approaches
• You'll be involved in all stages of the development process
• You'll develop customer oriented and data-driven features

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack/Backend Engineer with a strong background in Web development
• Expertise in Spring Boot and a deep understanding of modern Kotlin or Java
• Strong proficiency in unit and integration testing methodologies, with a commitment to heavily relying on testing practices throughout the backend development process.
• We think that you’ll learn necessary tools on the job, but additional experience with our stack is a bonus. These technologies and tools include Kotlin, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Google Cloud Storage and Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm and Jenkins. Apart from that our team relies on React and React Native for the frontend part of the application.
• You are fluent in English, spoken and written
• You are interested in helping to develop the Frontend in React Native/Typescript
• Our tech stack: Kotlin, Spring Boot, JVM, Typescript, Javascript, React, React Native, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js, Google Cloud Platform, Jenkins
• You are happy to pair, learn, teach, share, communicate and document things every day
