Senior Lead Android Developer (relocation to Netherlands)

Your tasks on the position:

• Master the current platform and application implementation, recognizing its benefits and pitfalls
• Implement short-term, non-invasive improvements and strategize long-term enhancements for future releases
• Guide a team of 2-3 Android developers, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery
• Create project-specific extensions and integrate them seamlessly into the core platform
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, maintaining and improving code quality
• Foster a team environment that values open feedback and full ownership

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android-based solutions and application architecture
• 2+ years of leadership or technical advisory experience
• In-depth knowledge of Android (as old as Android 8), expert in Java, SQL databases on small devices, JSON, XML, etc
• Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, including source code management (SVN, GIT), build processes, testing, and code releases
• Proficiency in English (C1+)

Will be an advantage:

• Experience in embedded software development/design
• Experience providing solutions to emerging countries
• Passion for mentoring young developers
• iOS development experience
• Knowledge of French
