Senior Project Manager

Description

• Manages $2MM-$5MM medium-to-high complexity programs from start-to-finish across a range of multi-channel project engagements with a strong focus on finances.
• Leads the development of project scoping, drafts statements of work (SOWs), creates staff plans, estimates budgets, and produces timelines that align to client and business needs.
• Maintains project timelines in a web-based project management software, ensuring task creation, updates, and proactively flagging potential challenges or delays.
• Hosts weekly internal status meetings to align on project status and next steps to ensure timely delivery.
• Identifies internal/external resource needs based on project demands and team capacity, acts as steward for them throughout engagement.
• Monitors program resource hours and proactively escalates when overages may arise.
• Key day-to-day contact with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Cultivates positive relationships with internal / external partners to ensure optimal delivery.
• Maintains high-performing team dynamics through empathy, trust, communication, and collaboration.
• Clearly communicates prioritized daily tasks and manages prioritization conflicts appropriately.
• Manages financial aspects of programs and is accountable for delivering projects within budget.
• Partners with account leads in accurately forecasting, staff utilization and revenue recognition.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5-8 years agency experience, specifically within an advertising, PR, or communications agency
• Digital experience required.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, fast learner, organized.
• Experience managing digital projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish on time and within budget
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with resource management preferred.
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly collaborative and solution-oriented with a flexible mindset that can adapt to changing client needs.
• Healthcare communications experience is a plus.
• An interest in working within healthcare - we’ll expect to see genuine enthusiasm for what we do here.
