Highland Electric Fleets is a comprehensive turnkey solutions provider that delivers electric school buses (EVSB) to school districts and third-party managed fleet providers (3PMs).
We offer a model involving financing, infrastructure, vehicle deployment, and maintenance in an easily digestible, economic format that enables EVSB acquisition at traditional diesel cost of ownership.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the estimation of construction costs for EVSE infrastructure installationOwn, maintain, and improve pricing estimation toolsProvide input on project designs to reduce proposed project costsOptimize construction standards for cost in coordination with Highland engineers.Ensure pricing estimation assumptions are in compliance with local requirementsSupport the evaluation and selection of contractor proposalsRefine pricing tool based on feedback from construction and engineering partner feedbackSupport the evaluation of new construction techniques and products to reduce construction costsQualifications4+ years office based professional experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years office based professional experience3+ years experience in construction estimation (renewable energy, EV charging infrastructure, electrical construction desirable) 2+ years of EV charging infrastructure project design specific experience and/or construction project management preferable Experience with software solutions (Bluebeam, AutoCAD, ETAP)Estimating certification preferable What You Can Expect from Highland:
