We’re looking for a growth and acquisition associate consultant to join our Outbound Sales team in growth and acquisition to strategically manage our efforts in reaching prospective financial advisors. The primary responsibility is to develop and maintain relationships with advisors to promote the benefits of bringing their practice to Commonwealth and to encourage them to meet with our Field Development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with Field Development team to gain traction with advisors in their territory along with uncovering new opportunities
- Developing sales leads by using data from Marketing efforts and following up on leads generated by third parties
- Understanding Commonwealth’s value propositions and unique selling points to increase advisor headcount in a way consistent with our brand and messaging strategy
- Contacting financial advisors to provide detailed information about Commonwealth’s products, services, and culture to enhance our effectiveness at closing leads
- Conducting virtual meetings and conference calls with financial advisors or third parties (i.e., recruiters, wholesalers)
- Maintaining and using data in customer relationship management system
Core Strengths and Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two years of work experience with one year of experience at a financial services firm
- Experience with the advisory business in general; knowledge of Commonwealth’s business model preferred
- Strong presentation, communication, and organization skills
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations preferred
- Experience with CRM software
