We’re looking for a project manager to join our ranks. Do you enjoy a fast-paced role collaborating in a creative environment? The project manager will oversee creative projects executed by our Internal Agency.

 

This role works directly with content strategists, writers, designers, and other marketing and enterprise resources to produce marketing communication assets to be used by a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will leverage your marketing communications experience and organizational and interpersonal skills to structure projects from a client brief and manage teams and clients to deliver high-quality assets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate communications strategies to confirm feasibility and resource availability
  • Translate communications strategies and creative briefs into project plans and identify opportunities for efficiency in how assets are created and delivered
  • Input project plan into Workfront to define work phases, timing, and ideal team assignments
  • Assign teams (designers, copywriters, and editors) and create project schedules within Workfront
  • Provide active coaching and quality assurance to teams including stakeholders throughout the process
  • Work with creative directors to provide creative team a variety of learning experiences to allow for professional growth and optimize utilization for more efficient capacity balancing

Core Strengths and Skills

  • Demonstrated organization skills to manage several simultaneous projects
  • Analytical skills and ability to review a communications strategy to identify efficiencies (eg., identify how best to group deliverables and opportunities for versioning)
  • Proven success working with various levels of management (ability to manage up, down, and sideways) and to lead when needed
  • Proven leadership and presentation skills
  • Clear, confident communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Aptitude for identifying problems of varying complexity and developing sound and actionable solutions within given constraints
  • Creative solutioning – the ability to think strategically and partner with client stakeholders in designing approaches and solutions

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and creative workflow in marketing communications or an agency environment is required
  • Strong influencing, planning, and problem-solving, and negotiation skills with proven project and/or program management track record
  • Previous experience using Workfront is a plus but not required
