As our Staff Product Manager, Organizer Success, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our organizer experience. You'll collaborate closely with the product team to develop and implement innovative tools that supercharge fundraising potential, and provide organizers with the data and resources they need to smash their goals.

The Job…

In this hands-on role, you'll be a champion for our organizers. You'll use your expertise to:

  • Deepen understanding of organizer needs: Conduct user research, analyze data, and collaborate with the product team to gain a comprehensive understanding of organizer challenges and aspirations related to maximizing fundraising potential. This includes analyzing successful campaigns, identifying pain points in the fundraising process, and understanding diverse fundraising goals.
  • Translate insights into product strategy: Define user stories, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with the overall fundraising success roadmap.

Champion innovative fundraising tools: Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new features that empower organizers to raise more money. This could involve tools for:

  • Targeted donor outreach: Provide data-driven insights and segmentation tools to help organizers reach the right donors with the right message.
  • Frictionless giving experiences: Optimize the donation process to remove barriers and encourage higher donation amounts.
  • Engaging fundraising campaigns: Develop features that gamify fundraising and incentivize donor engagement, like team fundraising leaderboards or progress trackers.
  • Own product development lifecycle: Manage the product development lifecycle for assigned features, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless product launch and a unified organizer experience across all platforms.
  • Data-driven decision making: Analyze data to measure the impact of new features on campaign performance and user engagement. Define success metrics and iterate on features based on results.
  • Be a voice for the organizer: Advocate for the needs of organizers within the organization and ensure their perspective is represented in all product decisions.

  • A passionate product manager (minimum 5 years of experience) with a proven track record of shipping impactful features.
  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive and empowering tools for fundraising success.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions focused on improving campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • A thirst for GoFundMe's mission of empowering people to achieve their fundraising goals.

Preferred…

  • Experience working in the fundraising or non-profit sector.
  • A strong understanding of marketing best practices, particularly for online fundraising.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $185,000 - $250,000 + equity + benefits. As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
