Therapist - Associate and Licensed

Salary and Benefits:

• Associate: $29.00 to $34.00 per hour (AMFT, ACSW, APCC)
• Licensed: $35.00 to $42.00 per hour (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)
• Full-time schedule

Job Description:

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those struggling with addiction? As a Therapist at The Edge, you'll be an integral part of our collaborative, team-oriented approach to recovery. We're seeking compassionate professionals who thrive in a therapeutic environment and are dedicated to helping our clients navigate the path to healing.

Our therapist will be working with clients who have recently been diagnosed with substance use disorders. his position requires maintaining strict boundaries while fostering positive, professional relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders. You'll be responsible for assessing client needs, tracking progress, and implementing effective treatment plans in alignment with ethical and clinical standards.
 

Individuals with a background in addiction treatment or human services strongly preferred. Opportunities for growth.

Duties:

• Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough client assessments and maintain detailed progress notes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate treatment records and reports.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at overcoming dependencies and promoting positive change.
• Collaborate with team members in staff meetings and clinical supervision sessions.
• Develop realistic treatment goals with clients in accordance with ethical and legal protocols

Skills:

• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office and KIPU Systems Client Management Software)
• Familiarity with substance treatment industry: 12 step terminology, CBT, MI etc
• Proficiency in KIPU Systems Client Management Software

Experience:

• Mid-level candidate: Required hours completed; license test scheduled
• Basic candidate: 2,500 hours towards license completed, AMFTs need to have children hours completed

Additional Requirements & Certificates & Licenses

• CPR/First AID
• Valid Driver’s License
• Negative TB test results within past year
• Medical clearance to work within past year
• Ability to pass random drug screenings

Work Location: Santa Ana, CA - On site; remote positions not available
