About Stellic

Stellic is a unified SaaS platform designed to empower all students on their way to degree completion and career success. Originally built by students to more effectively plan ahead, today we’re proud to serve all segments of higher education at institutions like UChicago, Ohio State, Johnson County Community College, Cornell College, and University of Oklahoma, and many more.

A bit about our philosophy: we’ve put student experience at the heart of our platform to address some of higher ed’s biggest current challenges. In fact, 40% of students who enter college will get lost while navigating their degree requirements and ultimately drop out — costing $200B to institutions annually. A big cause is that most of higher education has been using antiquated and disparate tools to manage student progress, and that’s led to low student engagement, overwhelmed advisors, wasted resources. Stellic gives students a beautiful, user-friendly experience to plan ahead and manage their progress, helping them make informed decisions and take ownership. That data is then put to good use. Advisors and administrators have access to student planning and progress data like never before, helping to scale support and allocate resources based on what the students need. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!

With millions of students in higher ed, Stellic’s work is far from finished. By joining our team, you’ll help step closer to our mission of empowering all students to have the best-possible experiences and outcomes.

About Stellic

Stellic is a unified SaaS platform designed to empower all students on their way to degree completion and career success. Originally built by students to more effectively plan ahead, today we’re really proud to serve all segments of higher ed, at institutions like the University of Chicago, The Ohio State University, Johnson County Community College, Cornell College, and University of Oklahoma.

A bit about our philosophy: we’ve put student experience at the heart of our platform to address some of higher ed’s biggest challenges right now.  40% of the students who enter college will get lost in navigating degree requirements and will drop out — costing $200B to institutions annually. A big cause is that most of higher ed has been using antiquated and disparate tools to manage student progress, and that’s led to low student engagement, overwhelmed advisors, wasted resources. Stellic’s response is to give students a beautiful, user-friendly experience to plan ahead and manage their progress, that helps them make informed decisions and take ownership. That data is then put to good use.  Advisors and administrators have access to student planning and progress data like never before, which helps scale support and allocate resources based on what the students need. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.

With millions of students in higher ed, Stellic’s work is far from finished. By joining our team, you’ll help get us a step closer to our mission of empowering all students to have the best-possible experiences and outcomes.

The Role

This is an opportunity to support multiple universities in the implementation of Stellic as a degree audit solution. As an audit building specialist, you will take ownership of building the degree requirements for our partner institutions into the platform. You will be provided program requirements for an institution, be responsible for translating those rules into Stellic, and checking for accuracy against student degree progress. You will work directly with the implementation managers to learn the specifics of their partner’s requirements and proactively communicate any challenges or gaps identified during the build process. This role is part of the larger Partner Success team, which is entirely focused on delivering value for our college and university partners.

As an audit building specialist you will work on the following:

  1. Delivery: You will be trained to build audits in the Stellic platform to help give our partners an amazing onboarding experience, leading to a high NPS and reducing time to value.
  2. Managing multiple projects: You will be tasked with building 40-60 audits per week that span several different partners. You will be effective in understanding complex degree requirements and building them in the platform.
  3. Collaboration: Partner with implementation managers to understand the unique partner context for building and timelines for expected delivery.

You'd be a great fit for this role if you have the following skills and experiences:

  • Higher Education: You have experience working in Higher Education, specifically in the Registrar’s office, academic advising, managing degree requirements or technical expertise in a degree audit system.
  • Logic and Reasoning: You have sound logic and reasoning skills which will allow you to review a list of degree requirements and translate them into Stellic so that the audit will function correctly.
  • Quick Learner and Self Starter: You are able to upskill quickly when learning new technology. You take responsibility for your own learning and are able to start producing results after receiving training.
  • Focus on Impact: You keep impact at the heart of each decision/action. You are extremely goal-oriented and know how to move the needle toward impact for students and stakeholders.
  • Operationally Excellent: You have a natural ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Customer Empathy: You have a customer-focused mindset and are motivated to help them achieve their goals.
  • Grit: You get shit done with a “no matter what it takes” attitude.
  • Efficient: You think scrappy about resources like time and budget, and produce unbelievable returns given those constraints.
  • Problem Solving: You are proactive in your ability to identify risks and work with others to mitigate/neutralize them quickly.
  • Communication Skills: You are an excellent written and verbal communicator with the ability to be detailed while also clear and concise.
  • Culture-fit: You are a natural fit for Stellic Values: My Heart is in the Work.
