The Senior Product Operations Manager combines operational responsibility and project management discipline to drive business operations.  This role will work closely with Product Leadership, Execution and Development, Client Services, Technology and Engineering, RUN Team, areas to drive the successful delivery of client contractual obligations and track performance metrics against overall corporate objectives, client, product, and team goals.

This role also requires skillset in project management, product delivery, operational planning and analysis, budgeting, process improvement and management reporting.  Support the Product QA lead in the activities of a Product Implementation team that consists of implementation project managers and implementation analysts.  Partner throughout the organization in matrix relationships to achieve on time, high quality, product implementations.  Work directly with our clients to ensure a positive experience with Inovalon products during implementation.  Identify and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tracking of key performance metrics, contractual obligations, billing, etc. to ensure end to end accountability for the successful operation of Real World Data products.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the real-world data licensing business, including contract negotiations, vendor management, and process optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, legal, and data science, to drive product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: create and monitor data quality program to track the delivery of product
  • Manage compliance with client policies, procedures and client contractual requirements;
  • Design and implement process improvements consistent with the direction of the teams;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements including technology and performance;
  • Prepare management-level and client-facing reports; prepares executive level reporting to support leadership decisions;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;
  • Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function; and

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, operations, or business development within the healthcare industry, with a focus on real world data.
  • SQL expertise
  • Familiarity with closed claims database and ability to run advanced query to QA issues.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products or services in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to real world data licensing.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; and
  • Master’s degree in business or a healthcare-related field preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$97,240$135,000 USD
