Your missions

Tinuiti is a performance and data-driven digital marketing leader, focused on every aspect of the customer journey across the quadropoly of Google, Facebook/Instagram, Amazon, Apple, and beyond. We believe success requires specialization across all channels, and our offerings cover the full spectrum from paid to earned to owned media. Our goal when we come to work every day is simple - to grow happiness. For our clients, their customers, our people and our partners. Growing happiness guides everything we do and our core values - Unleash Greatness, Never Stop Learning, Ignite Your Passion, Thankful Living, and Inspire Innovation & Change - inspire us to maintain a culture where our people take pride in their work and have fun doing it.

What you’ll be doing:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our Platform Services team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem solving, and prefers programming and building over merely maintaining systems. You'll work closely with our data engineering, infrastructure, and feature teams, playing a key role in deploying, monitoring, and ensuring the reliability of our platforms. Successful team members demonstrate a desire to take ownership of problems to be solved and drive the solutions to completion, understanding that there will always be trade offs but also time to revisit in the future.

    • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD processes and tools to automate deployments.

    • Collaborate with data engineering, infrastructure, and feature teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and systems.

    • Monitor, identify, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application security issues.

    • Lead the push for better developer tools and active monitoring of production systems by development teams.

    • Participate in the development of infrastructure as code (IaC) to ensure consistent and reliable environments through automation.

    • Develop and maintain internal tools to promote automation, collaboration, and ease the flow of critical data between teams.

    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and processes that can enhance system reliability and performance.

    • Engage in proactive communication with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and facilitate efficient workflow.

We’d love to hear from you if:

Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you qualify, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We'd love to connect and see if you could be a great fit.

    Requirements:
    • 2+ years of professional experience in systems engineering and DevOps practices.

    •  Strong understanding of AWS services and infrastructure.

    •  Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Typescript, Ruby, etc.) and familiarity with programming languages.

    •  Experience with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, CircleCI, etc) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

    • Shell scripting familiarity (Bash/Zsh) and ability to work with packaging systems (npm, webpack, etc)

    •  Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

    •  Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

    •  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
