WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our efficient, committed Supply Chain team builds partnerships to get the right product to the right place at the right time. Logistics? Ready to pivot.

In this high visibility role you’ll make an impact by leading strategic sourcing initiatives across our business, managing key categories of spend.

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Sourcing

Direct Reports: N/A

Location:  Hybrid at our Preston, WA office 3+ days a week.

Annual Bonus Potential: 8% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.

Base Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 (depending on experience)

Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity, and market.

  • Facilitate supplier/vendor selection, development, and relationship management to ensure the uninterrupted flow of high-quality, cost-competitive goods and services, as well as the transparency of spend.

  • Lead efforts to optimize, reevaluating our strategies for sourcing, category management, vendor/supplier evaluation, and procurement.

  • Identify and implement methods that decrease expenditure and increase efficiency.

  • Create a sourcing category strategy that supports company initiatives.

  • Leverage best practices to negotiate strategies and secure profitable deals, collaborating with stakeholders to guarantee alignment on terms and processes.

  • Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.

  • Perform cost and scenario analysis on raw materials and packaging.

  • Estimate risks and apply risk-minimizing techniques.

  • Develop, maintain, and continually review for improvement of a vendor/supplier evaluation system.

  • Establish cost savings and avoidance KPIs, achieving additional margin to support company initiatives.

  • Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, notifying the immediate manager of any food safety and/or quality issues.

  • Collaborate with appropriate teams to create SOPs and establish the right processes to support the business.

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

  • Five (5) years of proven success as a Sourcing or Procurement Manager.

  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software.

  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
