About the Role
 

You will be delivering and managing high-quality conference programmes for the World Travel Market in London and Arabian Travel Market in Dubai. This role involves building and curating content across all theatres, requiring excellent research, communication skills, and commercial acumen. It's an exciting opportunity for an experienced conference producer seeking autonomy and accountability in a creative environment.
 

Responsibilities
 

  • Utilising customer insight, needs and behaviours. Using this to develop the content strategy and plan for World Travel Market and Arabian Travel Market.
  • Generating high-quality, research-based conference agendas and event formats to meet the needs of different visitor personas/audience segments.
  • Identifying, securing and managing high-profile speakers from leading organisations.
  • Working with conference sponsors and customers to ensure the objectives of exhibitors and visitors are met through high-profile practitioner presentations.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to support the delivery of the visitor audience. Managing the video archives and creating and promoting high quality conference video content. Leading the delivery of the print event guide.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to understand the needs of the exhibitor customer to identify sponsorship and new product opportunities. Supporting sales at client meetings.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with the travel community. This includes end-user practitioners, vendors and associations along with internal stakeholders in marketing, sales and operations. Taking a leading role in our conference steering group.
  • Managing and analysing event feedback and using data and KPIs to monitor success innovate, develop and improve conference strategies.


Requirements
 

  • Have previous conference experience.
  • Experience in researching new markets and delivering top-level programmes to tight deadlines.
  • Be a creative thinker – recommending new and improved conference structures or models.
  • Have excellent business acumen. Demonstrating a desire to create new revenue streams and at the forefront of recommending new conference models.
  • Be able to build relationships with your customers internally and externally, ensuring communication is professional, timely and of high-quality.
  • Have excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Be self-motivated with a purposeful approach.
  • Have people management skills and be a team-player. Must be able to demonstrate excellent networking skills.
  • Have a good understanding of IT and technical research.
