The Siemens Project Management Office (PMO) is looking for a Customer Services (CS) Project Manager to join our team in Electrification and Automation (EA), specifically our Large Programs team. The Electrification & Automation business unit covers the entire spectrum for power distribution systems and service solutions. The CS Large Program team leads delivery, installation, and commissioning activities for key data center customers. As a CS Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects, from project initiation through final closeout. You will work in a matrix style organization requiring excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Headquartered in Wendell, NC, the EA PMO executes a diverse portfolio of projects, and this position will be focused on service solutions within our Customer Services business. As a customer facing team, we keep customer satisfaction at the forefront as we manage large projects in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a Customer Service Project Manager. This position will be based in Wendell, NC but can be remote within the United States.

As the Customer Service Project Manager, you will:

  • Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, quality, and performance objectives are met.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management, providing regular updates and managing customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resource Management: Identify, assign, and manage project resources, including engineering, field personnel, vendors, and 3rd-party services.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor/control 3rd-party vendors to ensure contract adherence.
  • Financial Leadership: Track project budget, schedule completion, and perform monthly revenue forecasting.
  • Contract Management: Review and understand contractual obligations, manage change orders, and participate in vendor negotiations.
  • Quality & Process Improvement: Develop project execution plans like quality & testing plans, schedules, and risk registers. Implement recovery plans to address performance issues.
  • Collaboration & Relationship Building: Collaborate with internal/external teams and clients to develop site schedules, maintain client relationships, and provide "Lessons Learned" feedback to improve project offerings.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of related service project management experience.
  • 5+ years of written and verbal communication skills, to present complex issues to multi-level audiences and effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external Customers.
  • PMP certification is required within 1 year of employment
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering or construction management
  • An understanding of medium and high voltage electrical equipment
  • An understanding of hyperscale datacenter construction projects
  • Experience with MS Project or other relevant scheduling software

  • The pay range for this position is $88,300 - $151,400 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
