We’re growing our offerings, building on the launch of our successful streaming platform ViX.

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer, to join our Web Engineering Team at ViX. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining high-performance web applications that enhance the user experience across various platforms. Join us in achieving our mission of building the premier Spanish Language Streaming Video Service by contributing your expertise to our innovative team.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You are a seasoned engineer with a proven track record of delivering impactful web and native solutions.

  • Advocating for software craftsmanship and operational excellence is second nature to you, balancing it with practical considerations when necessary.

  • Your composure remains intact in challenging situations.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Lead the implementation of robust web services adhering to best practices and testing standards, with a focus on peer reviews and critiques.

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-performance, secure, and operationally excellent web applications.

  • Collaborate effectively with a remote, multi-disciplinary team spanning different time zones.

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the assigned system, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership in problem triaging and prioritization.

YOU HAVE:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in web development as a technical individual contributor.

  • Proven expertise in web and system development.

  • 3+ years of experience in the video streaming space.

  • Proficiency in cloud-based development.

  • Strong understanding of web Framework (React / React-Native / Next.js / typescript)

  • Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

  • Any other knowledge of (Kotlin, Swift or Brightscrip) is a PLUS
