Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced Lead, Securitization Bond Analyst to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity. 

 

CSS built and operates the largest and most advanced mortgage securitization platform in the world, supporting the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

Job Information

CSS is seeking a dynamic individual to join its Securitization Operations Team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the processes related to the settlement and onboarding of REMIC securities as outlined below.


Key Job Functions

 

  • Assist to ensure newly issued securities are registered and settled at the Federal Reserve.
  • Reverse engineer and maintain deal level payrules used to calculate multi-class securitization factors and payments.
  • Collateral monitoring,
  • Onboard deals to facilitate bond administration, bond disclosure and IRS tax calculations and reporting.
  • Issue and support the ongoing maintenance of REMIC deal residual physical certificates.
  • Participate in status meetings with clients and other key stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education   

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, technical discipline, or industry related experience.

Minimum Experience  

 

  • Minimum 6 years with 3 years of related experience in the Mortgage-backed Securities industry.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Strong analytical and technical skillset (e.g. SQL, VBA, C++) including Excel formulas and functions.
  • Experience with Intex or related software a plus.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player and has the capacity to work collaboratively and effectively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results oriented, accepting responsibilities and challenges that take them outside their comfort zone.
  • Client focused.
  • Partners well with peers, managers, and functional partners.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize a full plate.

Pay Range $156,500 to $181,000

CSS’s pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.  CSS offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
