The Role
iDeals reached 450+ employees across 25+ locations, and keeps expanding globally. To support this exciting growth journey, we are seeking a Junior Compensation Accountant in Ukraine to ensure high-quality handling of local payroll and employee compensation. This role will also involve resolving requests from employees and queries from outsourced payroll providers.
As a Junior Compensation Accountant, you will enhance processes and oversee external outsourcers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Finance, Tax, Legal, and People Operations, reporting to the Payroll Operational Manager. What You Will DoCollect, verify, and input HR & payroll data into payroll softwareCalculate salary, taxes, and related contributionsCheck calculations, identify, and correct errorsPrepare and submit month closing files and documentation: GL-files, monthly payroll sheets, etc.Ensure compliance with the established calculation methodology and proceduresProvide clarifications on taxation of benefits in kind and wage-types to clientsPrepare bank files and payment orders for salary and related taxes and social contributionsControl the maintenance of the internal documents storage systemOffer payroll consultations for clients regarding payroll issuesCooperate with and supervise external providers on payroll issuesWhat We Look ForAt least 1 year of experience in a similar positionEnglish language proficiency at the Intermediate level (B1) or higherExcellent knowledge of existing labor laws and accounting rulesAdvanced Excel skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsWhat We Offer
