Affordability Portfolio Manger, Lead

The Opportunity:  

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, an experienced financial analyst who can show a team how to navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) resources can make the most impact. 

As an Affordability Portfolio Manager on our team, you’ll oversee the creation of an affordability strategy to help project leads succeed. You’ll lead the Affordability Analyst to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. 

As an Affordability Portfolio Manager authority, you’ll leverage your expertise to help your client develop well-formed requirements. This is your chance to lead an Affordability Analyst while acting as an Affordability Analysis expert for both clients and your team.

You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline

  • 4+ years of experience in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP)

  • Experience in the analysis of DoD acquisition programs or projects, including aircraft systems, maintenance, and maintenance reporting processes

  • Experience in the program and project status and schedules

  • Knowledge of Service and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS or life-cycle management of military acquisition program

  • Knowledge of qualitative or quantitative analytical and evaluative methods for the assessment and improvement of cost and performance initiative opportunities

  • Ability to brief higher levels of leadership using your interpersonal or diplomatic skills

  • Secret clearance

  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or Management

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
