About this role


Verbatim is looking for a well-rounded, ambitious technical content writer looking to build their portfolio and hone their skills. By joining our small but mighty content agency, you’ll be instrumental in building content engines for some of today’s fastest-growing B2B startups.


In this role, you will:


  • Produce high-quality, authoritative long-form technical content on behalf of clients
  • Juggle multiple projects, from case studies to in-depth guides 
  • Research clients, their products, their audiences, and surrounding industry trends
  • Develop a firm understanding of the technical nuance of the client’s product and the pain points it solves
  • Master and adopt various voice, style, and formatting requirements 
  • Help establish best practices and culture for our tiny but mighty content team
  • Own client projects from concept to final execution
  • Work within and identify opportunities to improve our current systems
  • Collaborate with clients and team members in a highly iterative environment


To qualify for this role, you have:


  • 2+ years of technical content marketing experience with a portfolio showcasing your work
  • Experience in B2B (ecomm infra, fintech, data privacy, or dev tools ideal)
  • Stellar content sensibilities, from high-level strategic direction to in-the-weeds execution
  • Outstanding attention to detail, whether fact-checking or getting the commas right 
  • Consistently go the extra mile to take projects from good to great
  • Communicate with precision, clarity, honesty, and low ego
  • Looking to be part of a fast-paced, startup-like environment
  • Can balance excellence with urgency and speed
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguous projects
  • Open to receiving and quick to action constructive feedback
