Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and continuously deploying to customer-facing applications in a full-stack or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one backend language such as Python, Golang, Kotlin or Java
  • Experience with component-based architecture using the latest frontend development framework e.g. ReactJS, Redux
  • Experience in testing and improving code through CI/CD pipelines and the unit, integration and end-to-end testing
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and observability principles and practices such as logging frameworks, error-tracing systems and overall monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with databases, distributed systems and event-based architecture
  • Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and system issues as part of a technical roadmap
  • Ability to communicate in English


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work in cross-functional teams with project managers, data & software engineers and analysts
  • Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of the microservices and frontend applications that you develop
  • Use DevOps practices, pair programming and other cutting-edge methodologies
  • Design and develop generic features (capabilities) of our first-in-class data platform that can continue to scale
  • Help to enable your team to iterate fast and learn about platform users, planning, building, testing and launching features enabling users to use platform capabilities in a self-service manner
  • Collaborate with engineers across your department and the company to continuously improve our code base, systems and processes
  • Coach and mentor other team members through workshops, pair programming and code reviews
