Job description

On behalf of our client - an International Legal consultancy team with over 9 years experience in iGaming - we are looking for an experienced Senior Lawyer to strengthen their Legal department.


Requirements: 


  • 3-4 years of experience as a lawyer in gambling (in-house or in a legal consultancy firm);
  • Possess experience with Curacao B2C license;
  • Hands-on involvement in incorporating and sustaining companies across diverse jurisdictions;
  • Proven experience in successfully navigating company audits and unblocking of the corporate bank accounts;
  • Extensive expertise in crafting and reviewing agreements with various providers (e.g. game providers, payment providers, platform providers);
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Trello / Asana / Notion);
  • Excellent soft skills: communication, problem solving, crisis management, negotiations, strategic mindset, stress resilience; 
  • Fluent English (both written and verbal);
  • Ua/Ru speaker


Would be a plus:


  • Experience with MGA, Kahnawake, IOM, Anjouan licenses or B2B licenses;
  • Hands-on experience in handling player complaints to the licensor and addressing notifications from the local regulator.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with gambling laws and regulations;
  • Manage the Curacao B2C license and stay updated on any regulatory changes;
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with game providers, payment providers, and platform providers;
  • Oversee the incorporation and maintenance of companies in different jurisdictions;
  • Manage the provision of the Legal Services for the constant clients (in both B2B and B2C operations);
  • Lead and oversee all legal aspects of the client's project, serving as the Senior Lawyer with the support of a Junior Lawyer, ensuring comprehensive and effective legal services.
