Job description 
This position will report to the Intacct Implementation Manager and be part of an exciting and growing development organization.  This is a client-facing role developing the system architecture and ensuring successful Sage Intacct implementations using NPact’s processes.  Success in this role requires the clear ability to evaluate/communicate both risks and opportunities in-real time as well as working with a team in a collaborative environment. 
 
About the Role:  

The Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant is an individual contributor with technical strengths and proven capability to design, develop and implement Sage Intact. This role is client-facing. This role requires expert level knowledge of Sage Intact system configuration, chart of accounts, workflow processes, financial reporting, and non-profit accounting. NPact’s Services team consists of non-profit and Sage Intact solution experts. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Understanding customers' needs in Sage Intact, proactively gathering information to learn about their requirements and expectations. 

  • Assist with configuration, data migrations, imports as needed. 

  • Provide client demonstrations of core functionality in Sage Intacct. 

  • Building customized financial reports and making changes to existing financial reports. 

  • Assist with client training on Sage Intacct as needed. 

  • Setting appropriate expectations with the customer as it relates to project scope, timeline, and budget.  

  • Identifying and presenting Change Orders to the customer when the customer’s requirements and/or budgeted project hours fall outside of the project scope. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Sage Intact Implementation Certification;  

  • 3+ years' experience with Sage Intact; 

  • 3+ years' experience with Non-profit accounting;  

  • Knowledge of GAAP, fundamental financial concepts and procedures; 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, deadlines and deliverables; 

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, Macros); 

  • Trusted advisor and partner to those we serve in the non-profit industry; 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach to work; 

  • Demonstrated success with time management and problem solving.
