Currently, we are looking for a, team-oriented sales or business development professional to partner with our consulting team as we continue to grow our market. The Oracle Applications Sales Manager will play an integral role on our Commercial Sales team to grow AST’s local presence through the identification, nurturing and closing of consulting services engagements. This is a US based and full-time remote position, with travel to customer sites as needed.


What You'll Do

  • Sell AST’s Oracle solutions and consulting services directly into commercial accounts.
  • The ideal candidate is an energetic business development professional who targets new customers and develops relationships with key decision-makers in enterprise-level companies.
  • The role includes prospect engagement, analyzing prospect needs, recognizing opportunities, and presenting AST’s partner solutions and services, all with the primary goal of continuously building a viable pipeline.
  • Identify leads via targeted account lists, campaigns, networking, events and/or other sources.
  • Maximize your network through trusted advisor relationships you have built offering AST services to said network.
  • Develop executive relationships.
  • Understand industry trends and client needs, develop & deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Effectively lead a strategic and complex sales process
  • Strategically align with Oracle Channel and co-selling with their sales team
  • Work to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration directly or via the Oracle partner ecosystem.
  • Manage accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborate with team members in Marketing, Pre-sales, and Delivery to uncover customer needs.
  • Travel to customer sites to identify and develop sales opportunities.
  • Participate in the development, presentation, and sales of the AST value proposition.
  • Give engaging customer presentations to all levels of leadership, including C-level.
  • Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and maximizing sales.


What You Bring

  • 1 to 3 years of business development and sales experience within the Oracle ecosystem (Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Prior work experience selling within professional services industry desired.
  • Understanding of SaaS solutions, including any of the following: Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Performance Management, Customer Relationship Management or Business Intelligence.
  • Strong hunter with the ability to uncover leads and new sales opportunities. Manage the process through prospecting, lead qualification, GTM strategy, and planning.
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.
  • Able to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision, yet participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed.
  • Dynamic communicator, with excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process.
  • Qualify, develop, advance, and convert new and existing client opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the local market team to develop account strategies and close plans.
  • Establish account presence and build trust with key contacts and the Oracle Channel.
  • Identify a customer’s business needs and articulate what type of solutions can address those needs.
  • Deliver against agreed upon sales targets that meet both sales and financial goals.
  • Interact with partners (e.g., Oracle) to jointly market and sell to mutual customers, share leads, and position solutions.
  • Make significant contributions to the local team and the company sales culture.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
