Meditech Expanse Migration Consultant

Job Purpose

Responsible for a single data migration project, the Meditech Expanse Migration consultant will own migrating data for a client who is utilizing Meditech Expanse. This individual will project manage the creation and testing of queries and overall completion of the data migration project.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Write, run, and debug queries on client system
• Expertly extract data from Meditech Expanse
• Develop time estimates for assigned project task
• Identify root causes for errors, work to successfully resolve technical problems
• Work with Med-Metrix team members to understand full project scope, maintaining consistent communication to ensure work aligns with overall project goals
• Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards

Qualifications· 

BSCS with 3+ years MS SQL experience.·Thorough understanding of database structures, theories, principles, & practices.· Ability to write & troubleshoot SQL code & design stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, & constraints.
