JavaScript Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic Translation team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of our software products and driving innovation. The ideal candidate is an individual who displays a blend of technical prowess, problem-solving skills, and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Leverage 3rd party JavaScript libraries to enhance custom-coded JS components
• Provide guidance to Business Analysts regarding the implementation complexity of their designs
• Demonstrate periodically to the team features as you complete them
• Participate in all Agile-based ceremonies to include assisting the team with story estimation
• Execute unit tests and integration tests against your changes
• Assist other JavaScript developers with their tasks from a peer programming perspective, including reviewing their code and implementation approach
• Use processes and tools that support the DevOps pipeline
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver software solutions that align with business objectives.

• Proficiency in front and back-end development
• Proficiency Node.js, RESTful web services, HTML, CSS, etc
• Strong understanding of TypeScript
• Familiarity with databases, including MariaDB
• Extensive experience with JavaScript and EcmaScript6 and React workflows
• Experience with modern development tools, such as Docker, CI/CD, etc
• Profound experience in developing next-generation scalable web applications
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented designs and patterns
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Entrepreneurial background
• Experience designing microservices
• AWS and Azure Cloud experience

• BS/BA required in computer science or similar
• 3+ years of experience in web application development
• Fluency in English and excellent verbal communications skills
• Experience with systems integrations and APIs
• Experience with content management is a plus
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with large teams
