Your missions

One of our premier clients in Los Angeles is looking for a Director of Growth (Performance Marketing) to add to our team of smart, dedicated, and passionate people.

About the Role: The Director of Growth (Performance Marketing) is responsible for driving our full-funnel digital performance marketing strategy, partnerships and various growth marketing campaigns that propel exponential user growth in the US and internationally, while also prioritizing retention efforts. The Director thinks end to end—from first customer touch to email signup, and conversion, working across marketing, product, engineering, analytics, and consumer research to acquire and retain our customer base. The successful candidate will possess strategic, creative and analytical marketing acumen along with a proven track record for helping grow product adoption and spend through marketing communications efforts. Our ideal candidate is forward-thinking, disruptive in marketing and innovation and an inspiring Marketing leader.

Primary Responsibilities
● Industry expert in Meta, Google, TikTok, Influencer, Pinterest, and all paid media.
● Industry expert in Google Analytics (now GA 360)
● Drive performance marketing, paid search, retention marketing, partnerships, analytics research; partnering closely with a dedicated product, design, and engineering to execute in-product growth lever.
● Knowledge and experience with FB Advertising + KPI reporting.
● Develop, implement, and own the customer acquisition strategy, budget, and results including growing new customer acquisition week over week.
● Define the retention marketing vision and scale the email program to drive customer revenue, customer engagement, and customer lifetime value through segmentation + email trigger communications. This also includes SMS, chat, direct mail, packaging inserts, loyalty/referral programs, and other direct channels.
● Create and manage the marketing budget, optimizing spend across channels, consumer segments, and geographies.
● Lead reporting and analytics across all channels and own the performance of all relevant KPI's (CLTV, CAC, contribution margin, channel ROAS targets, retention cohorts, customer churn feedback, etc.).
● Manage an in-house team, key agencies and partnerships to optimize performance (performance media, email marketing, and affiliate networks).
● Collaborate with the Creative team to develop a deep understanding of what resonates with our customers and optimize content/messaging accordingly.
● Partner closely with Product and Operations in identifying category opportunities and aligning acquisition/retention strategy with seasonal launches, new product introductions, and category sales targets.

● You are a trailblazer staying on top of email, retention and loyalty trends and competitors that enable us to create best in class growth marketing strategies to increase our presence.

Requirements:

● You have a minimum of 10+ years of professional experience and 2+ years in a leadership role. Your focus is digital marketing, with hands-on experience with paid search, social, email, influencer, google analytics and funnel management.
● You have experience driving the overall marketing strategy from forecasting, budgeting, and planning to resource allocation, prioritization, campaign execution, optimization, and reporting with a proven track record of successfully acquiring customers.
● You have managed full-funnel growth analytics including A/B testing, channel effectiveness, and LTV/CAC analysis.
● E-commerce, marketplace and/or retail experience is preferred
